Still alive?

this blog is getting awfully quiet! perhaps it is due to our busy work schedule. but technically speaking, i feel relatively quite laxed this sem! =D anyway, a good news for everyone! i should be changing the blogskin soon! currently learning how to create a website from e it 1001 module ( intro to computing)

to add life to our otherwise mundane life, i shall share some pictures of MYSELF with you guys

This picture is an all time favourite of mine coz it looks so sinful!! haha yep, i don't think i will ever get a chance to eat this again coz it is not available in Singapore!

This is a picture taken at the hongkong cafe at kovan! it is my latest craze now. been there quite a few times but dont think anyone of you would like to go since it is at kovan! kovan is near hougang so yep. the drink on the left is called milk tea in macau style! it is really yummy, i drink that all the time and the drink of the right is milo dinosaur and it is huge!!! but if you guys change your mind, we could go there some time! it is opened 24 hours!

this is what i do every saturday at YMCA. These are the kids and volunteers that are involved, as you can tell the youths are shying away from the camera coz they are usually very self conscious at this age. The girl behind the minnie mouse is a very good friend of mine in social work! =)

Okay, my bo-liaoness is at work! sorry to make you guys go through the sense-less pictures! heh just wanted to add life to our ever-interesting blog!!

lost in transition

Dear darlings,

i miss you guys SO much!! and just wanna say "OH MI GOSH!!!" i really don't know anything about you guys today if not for the blog!! so kudos to the creators ;) In responses as well, Liting, CONGRATS~!! really happy for you that you found someone that you can click' with :) Ya, so proud of you for doing something that i will never do until i become rich and bored and committed to doing good :P Pof, i totally get what u mean by being slack!! I am too~! except that i have tons of work to do which makes no 'day and night' like Phy. But i kinda like sch, i mean in some ways it really is my only form of social life now *sob* Jo, happy happy la, happy valentines! Our clique is really growing into a 'family thing' haha....

Anyway, fyi, im typing this in the departure hall T2 Singapore. Plane bound for India was delayed time and again, and so I'm actually able to claim for this with insurance and it's my FIRST TIME!! so after all the anger, frustration and depression, now just feeling lost in transition and hoping to get onto a flight to go see the Taj, and attend a wedding that i think would just be the best ever.

Wonder what you guys are doing now on a friday night? We really ought to party sometime together - no chionging like i no you don't like, but just R&R at this place called Villa Bali. Absolute bliss, perfect for slackers like us. :) I love you!!

Wishing you guys..

Hey everyone,
is me again! I am currently in a state of denial. Being stuck at an attempt to write my paper for a week already and my brain is not functioning as well as it should be. *admits defeat* This is probably the hardest paper in NUS that i have ever written since I have no idea where and how to start doing the paper. *wails*

Anyway Just want to wish you guys

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Hopefully everyone of you will have a great time esp Jo, who is celebrating it for the 1st time officially with her darling Jack ( minus e part last year when you guys were not together and celebrated on 15th feb! hah , anyway QL and me saw Jack on sunday! where were you??) I don't think Koreans celebrate VDAE in Korea ya? But, Liting, you can still send us sweet vdae presents from Korea of course.

Maybe all these sound like crap to everyone else but i am reallllly bored from thinking haha =)

Have a blessed week ahead everyone! =)

mundane life...

Hey guys,

As for me, I've kinda been leading an aimless life. Timetable's really wierd, and I can be having super duper long free periods, ie 6hrs. Modules are wierd as well. So even though there's work to be done, I just feel as though there's nothing to do, and I can totally still be on track with everyone else. So yah.. basically if there's no quiz, I'll probably be slacking my time away..

Guess the slightly more exciting thing for me in school would be FYP. But the irritating thing would be that I have to wear jeans and covered up shoes for almost every single day! Due to lab work of course.. Sobz.. No more shorts and slippers... =(

And I'm actually writing this post in central lib... Double sianz..

Really happy for Liting and Ya. Liting, for having found her new love and being able to spend so much time with him. And Ya for being able to share your love for volunteer work with QL. I think its amazing that both of you can be so passionate about the same thing. =)

I absolutely miss you guys!!

In response to deb

I just felt bad for not replying to deb's post of " how are you" and "i just want to know what you have been up too"

I really have no idea what i have been up to recently. Been busy with trying to get some things in place. As some of you know ( I think), I am currently involved in e YMCA youth study programme. There is alot of changes this year in the programme and right now I am just working with the rest to get things going. AND, another big leap in faith is that QL and Me will prob be taking over the children side to run the the programme. Think it is going to be an exciting journey for us as we learn how to plan, organise and lead the programmes. So for those who are able to, pls pray for us that we will grow together as a couple and that God will guide us on how to touch the lives of these young children =) Bascially, i don't really know what you guys think of voluntary work but I admit that if i don't do voluntary work, i feel that my life is incomplete haha so, i think i am just addicted to it =) if you guys are free, can let me know too yah, i can help to pull you guys into YMCA =)

Another thing that i have been doing is watching 'da chang jin'!! haha yea, i finally gotten the VCD and i cant stop watching it! Phy: have you watched it? =)
and liting: is it cheaper to buy korean dramas from Korea? will there be like subtitles that are not in korean ? heh

Lastly, Sorry to disappoint you guys, But I WONT BE CELEBRATING my bdae this year. Don't worry, i din't just exclude you guys from my bdae celebration. I am not celebrating with any groups in particular this year heh =) I understand from last year that that period of time will be a stressful time for everyone yah? So, I will be happy enought to receive a dear sms from you guys =)

HAve a great week ahead! =)

How are you?

Dear dears,

how are you guys? how was CNY celebrations or was the past few days a total blur (like how i'm feeling now)? being back in sch and realising how much work needs to be done, kinda prompt me to write this entry just to update~

just imagining the busy people we are, only being able to meet ONLINE for the next few weeks until 5th March. which is like a MONTH away or few more months with Liting!! (ok, doesn't sound so long after all) so i thought, i just wanted to know 'how are you', and don't just say 'i'm fine thank you', tell me all about the nitty gritties of your everyday life, even the part when you dont shower because you had a long project night.. :P

and if you're still not convinced about this deb-absurdity, i shall start off by saying that i had the weirdest (to me la) class discussion about 'what it means to be Singaporean' and how race ties in with nationality in Singapore. the kind of thing you hear when Aug 9th nears. it is like, i dont know why i am not in tune but the only thing i thought of (apart from the cliched food and singlish) was that being Singaporean meant that we held a passport worth $20K in the black market. yes, that's what i heard, but hey, don't quote me on that. :P anihow, just had claire's mini-sque celebration on tues night and one more tonight with family, and yes, it dawned on me what a procrastinator i can be sometimes.. :P delaying until it doesnt happen. which btw, reminds me, THANK YOU dears for the beautiful two-piece pinky suit that you got for claire. it was T-errRRRific. and just the right size.
Thank you once again *muacks* or em.............muacks! as claire-speak

shall stop here before ramblings of deb never ends and she can start doing her reading instead of staring at some ebay auction.. and things like that..

with MUCH love. i want to know what you are up to. :)
