Having had enuff of complaints about Deb and her slow-uploading skills, here are the pix taken on 21st January night, in celebration of Jo's 22nd Birthday. Many else were taken but due to the laziness of Deb, admitingly, she has decided to leave the rest out, awaiting special requests. And as Ya had elaborated in the previous post, the first one was taken at Pepper place, and the next at our usual haunt, Swensen's at Crown Prince - so Liting can now recall the times that we started shouting across the table so that we catch bits of what each other say..

Jo's 22nd Birthday
For the Benefit of Liting, I shall give a brieft account of Jo's birthday heh =)
Places that we visited: Pepper Lunch for Dinner followed by Ice cream at Swensen'sPeople who were present: All except Liting , Gerald and Claire.The start of the celebration started at Pepper Lunch with Deb, Jo, Jack, QL and me. Phyllis was late and as usual she didn't bring her phone. There was no way of contacting her. By God's grace, she managed to find her way thru the crowd even though it was her 2nd attempt inside the place. I think the concept of Pepper Lunch is quite innovative. We get to cook our own food! Even though i felt that prices were abit steep. Yep, the food was nice but it was like eating fried rice after you finished cooking your meal =) And Pof didn't get to try the food even though she was the one who suggested the restaurant! heh Next time okay? =)AND the best part was, we managed to get Jo and Jack to share their story (ok, partially) and to attend our Q and A questions. Too bad liting wasn around, if not it could have been worse! =DDessert at Swensen's.This year, we started a new trend. No more treaT! heh =) Just as we were about to pay and leave,a firehouse ice-cream sundae was placed on the table for Jo!= the singing of the birthday song=happy birthday to youhappy birthday to youhappy birthday to Joanna -pause- (there was a long pause here caused Jack saw his friend and ALL of us turned to look at his friend and nobody continued singing for at least a few seconds, Poor Jo)of coz, Someone queued us in and we finished the last line of the song.I guessed this was the most comical and memorable part. Anyway, thanks to Jo and Jack for being so sporting to pick up the cherries from the ice-cream with their mouths.AND thanks for making the outing such as joyful one. NOW, we shall wait for Deb to upload the photos here, which prob includes pictures of me with my bad hair! =(

how are u guys today? what u doing and everything like tt? i'm so bored on this sunday afternoon.. went to parkway but was prohibited from buying almost anything except that which i planned to get: A birthday cake for Claire~ yes.. how sad when u sink into reality of no money-ness *sobz* so back at home i am, typing on this blog feeling a tat...
On the note of Birthdays, would like to invite everyone to Claire's 2nd birthday party on 31st Jan 2006! it'll be a lunch thru dinner thing, so feel free to drop by 99 Parbury Avenue and see little monsters running around with winnie the pooh hats..
On the same note of Birthdays, as i MUST have told you guys already, we're meeting on this Saturday, 21st of Jan, to celebrate our dearest Jo's 22nd birthday.. (see above for the difference in age *grinz*) details are as follows: 700pm, orchard control station. Restaurant is some pepper place recommended by Poffy.. what was it called again? fyi, other suggestions of Punggol Park was taken into consideration for future references... maybe on 5th March it may take place there...

The Before-Korea Moment
as i post this msg, 'wonder how this will look like' keeps popping into my head.. occupational hazard or just pet peeve. deb is getting a little paranoid on the little things, beady things that do not matter in life, and yet striving to stick to her resolutions~ :)
